My Dad was an avid sailor and started to take my sisters and I to the Caribbean early in my life to bareboat. He later befriended a kindred spirit who took his bride and settled on a 5-acre island in the Bahamas he eventually bought from the Queen of England! He raised his family and made his life there into his 8th decade until Hurricane Dorian finally had its way with his precious home.
